There will be no cover under this policy if you travel to a country or specific area that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO)/Government advise against all or all but essential travel to.

As England enter a national lockdown from 5th November 2020 until 2nd December 2020, we will be unable to provide any travel insurance cover for trips in this period. Our policies will not provide any cover if there is Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCDO) advice against 'all' or 'all but essential travel' to the country you are visiting.

There is no cancellation cover if you are unable to travel due to Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advising against all or all but essential travel.

As of the 20th August 2020 our Premier Plus single trip and annual multi-trip policies now include additional COVID-19 cover.

What's included on Premier Plus with Enhanced COVID cover?

  • Emergency Medical Expenses including if you were to contract COVID-19 abroad (covered on all 4 levels of cover)
  • Cancellation Cover for COVID-19
    • If you have to cancel your trip due to you or anyone travelling with you and insured on your policy contracting COVID-19/Coronavirus within 14 days of your trip starting. This additional cover for cancellation is currently unavailable on our Standard, Premier and Premier Extra levels of cover.
  • Denied boarding cover if you’re prevented entry at the airport due to detected symptoms of coronavirus. This would only be applicable if you receive a positive COVID-19 test.
  • Reimbursement on any pre-booked excursions or events which you cannot recover from any other source.
