Disability Travel Insurance

Disability is a broad term affecting people in many different ways through a variety of diagnosed medical conditions. We've put together a specialist travel insurance with this in mind, offering a choice of cover options to meet the individual needs of disabled travellers. Whether your disability is physical or a chronic medical condition, we can tailor a policy that allows you to travel with security and peace of mind.

As well as our standard benefits which include cover for cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident and personal belongings we also offer cover for mobility aids up to £2,500 per traveller:

Cover for wheelchairs, walking sticks and any other mobility aids you rely on will be covered up to a limit of £2,500 if they become lost, stolen or damaged during your trip. We also pay the cost of hiring a temporary replacement. This cover is automatically included in our cover packages at no extra cost. Mobility aids will need to be privately owned by the individual and not rented or borrowed from a charity, hospital or other organisation. Please see our policy wording for the full terms and conditions of mobility aid cover.
