YOUR travel insurance policy is not intended to cover items of high value, items such as laptops, iPads, Mac, Web books, expensive watches etc., as these should be fully insured under YOUR house contents insurance on an All Risks extension for 365 days of the year. There is a maximum amount YOU can claim for each individual item and a maximum amount in total for valuables, and these are shown under the personal possessions section. The personal possessions section is not ‘new for old’ and an amount for age, wear and tear will be deducted. The wear and tear scale can be viewed on www.tif-plc.co.uk/wear&tear. Mobile phones are not covered.
